Experienced Forklift Operator - Cherry Picker/Order Picker

SIMOS is hiring experienced Cherry Picker/Order Picker Forklift Operators in New Albany, OH , for the upcoming peak season!

• 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour
• Experience Required: Previous Raymond Cherry Picker/Order Picker experience

Candidates must complete a forklift assessment before starting. Opportunities may also be available on 2nd and weekend shifts , which offer a $2.00-per-hour shift differential .

Job Responsibilities

• Operate a Stock/Order Picker throughout the duration of the shift
• Load and unload cartons/packages efficiently and safely, recording all necessary paperwork
• Pick, wrap, and stage orders to be shipped
• Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and other miscellaneous tasks as needed
• Utilize RF scanners and the Warehouse Management System
• High School diploma or GED
• A forklift assessment will be completed prior to starting for experienced drivers.
• Certification and experience operating forklift equipment is required (Order Picker)
• Familiarity with RF scan gun and computer inquiries/and data entry
• Able to read and count accurately and follow verbal and written directions
• Able to perform repetitive motions and lift 50 lbs. continuously
• Able to work overtime as needed with little or no advance notice

Associate Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED
• Background Check
• Able to Lift 50 pounds
• Drug Test
• Must be at least 18 years old

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $21.50 - $21.50 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
