What You’ll Do

• Provide diagnostic radiology readings for emergency department cases
• Review and interpret mixed cases with an average of 80-130 per 8-hour shift
• Collaborate with residents and other medical staff during overnight shifts
• Ensure timely and accurate case logging and reporting
• Utilize Sectra PACS, Cerner EMR, and Powerscribe dictation system
• Complete case logs and submit them with BID
• Maintain high standards of medical practice and safety

What You Need

Required:

• State medical license in Michigan or willing to obtain
• DEA waiver (not necessarily holding a DEA license)
• Experience in diagnostic radiology (capsules, ED cases)
• Ability to work overnight shifts

Preferred:

• Prior experience with residents or in an ED environment
• Strong skills in case logging and reporting
• Clean malpractice history

About the Assignment

This position is based at a leading facility in Detroit, MI, where you'll be responsible for providing remote diagnostic radiology services during overnight hours. The role entails interpreting ED cases, teaching residents, and supporting the emergency department with high-quality diagnostics. Workstations and necessary technology will be provided to ensure smooth operations.
